My name is Emily and I’m the
hands behind all the creations you’ll find here. And this is
Loki, the inspiration behind the name and my trusty yarn
quality expert.
I first learned to crochet as a child, but didn’t pick it up again until 2019, after stumbling upon a crochet kit for a amgurum sloth. Since then, I’ve been crocheting non stop, and what started as a hobby quickly turned into a love for creating handmade pieces that bring joy to others.
Over the years, I have tried to crochet as many different projects as I could find, including amigurumi, blankets, hats, scarves, sweaters, home decor and more. I have found a particular passion for crocheting amigurumi animals and have made that the focus of the collection for Lokis Knäuel. Much of my work uses patterns from other crochet designers, which has helped me to learn the stiches, techniques and tricks that I need to produce a finished product that I can be proud of. My goal going forward, is to open an online shop and start creating my own designs. It will take lots of trial and error, many stitches and a lot of unraveling, but I look forward to the challenge.
It has been wonderful sharing my creations with my friends and family over the years and with Lokis Knäuel, I am hoping to be able reach a wider community. I’m so excited to share my work with you and hope my pieces bring as much happiness to your life as they do to mine while I crochet them.
